Coffee-Lovers Giveaway! – Winner Announced

I haven’t held a giveaway in a little while, so I thought in light of the fact it is holiday season, and in light of the fact that it is cold in Alaska, and in light of the fact that I just shoveled more snow, and in light of the fact that we are swiftly nearing the shortest day of the year where sunrise and sunset are only 3 hours, 45 minutes apart, and in light of the fact that I drink a lot of coffee…  I’d have a COFFEE giveaway!

The lucky winner will get a full-sized package of Rudolph’s Red Velvet coffee from the North Pole Coffee Roasting Company, and…

Coffee-Lovers Giveaway from The Foodie Army Wife

Here’s how to enter. You can do just the one entry, but read on, and you’ll see that you can earn additional one as well!

I love Chena Hotsprings in the winter. It's the best when it's -20 and your hair freezes. The walk to the pool is brutal but it's worth it!

Love NP Roasting! I am eyeing those samplers for stocking stuffers.

Reading all these great blog posts over a nice steaming cup of coffee for one :). My favorite winter activities used to be playing ice-hockey with all my boys and their Daddy or taking off on snow-shoes all by myself into the silent snow-filled woods. Since moving to Hawaii however that's all changed and now whenever I have a few "winter" moments to myself I like to take my hammock down to the beach and do a little reading under the coconut trees.

My favorite winter activity is sledding with my family down Hospital Hill ( which I know you remember all too well!) .. We bring thermos's full of hot cocoa and warm blankets to cuddle up in when we're done – which is usually when we can't feel our behinds anymore!

Watching the grandchildren go sledding in the backyard and providing them with lots of hot cocoa and cookies is one of my most favorite things to do in the winter!

I love playing outside in the snow with my kids, now that we live in Florida, that never happens!

I'm afraid I'm not really a winter person. My favorite activities are wearing big warm sweaters, making slow cooked comfort foods & baking. My husband has worked hard to live his dream of playing golf all winter, so after a lifetime of New England winters, he retired & we spent part of last winter & all of this winter is planned in Florida. Although I never loved winter-this is hard to adjust to, but it's time to keep the promise I made about 18 years ago to spend winters in Fl.

My favorite winter activity is snuggling up with a book,, a fuzzy blanket and flavored coffee and watching snow come down – on a day I don't have to go out!!!!
