Cookies & Advertising
I love cookies – chocolate chip, oatmeal, snickerdoodles – all sorts of cookies. But there are other cookies found on this website (and pretty much any website now-a-days.) It is a tiny piece of data that your computer saves and is used to track your traffic. have you logged into Facebook, and checked the box to stay logged in each time you visit? That’s a cookie. Ever do a search for a particular product, and then next thing you know, you are seeing ads for that very kind of product? It’s the cookies that track that and are used to show you advertising that is relevant to you. Cookies are used on Cosmopolitan Cornbread for that very reason, and also to remember if you are a new visitor or one of my wonderful regulars. I don’t see the information from the cookies, and can’t personally do anything with them. They don’t tell me who you are, nor anything about you. the cookies are used to show you advertisements that are tailored to interests you have shown by you past browsing history both here on Cosmopolitan Cornbread and other sites you have visited. The companies that supply these ads may collect non-personal meta-data like your browser type, your operating system, what website you’ve visited, what time you visit and other general information. The use of that meta-data is subject to their own privacy policies, not mine.
Most webs browsers can be set to delete all cookies each time you close your browser if you like. You can also opt-out of this collection by turning off the cookies permission in your browser.

We do at times accept sponsorship for post or products for the purpose of reviews. These posts are occasionally compensated, but the opinions expressed are always honest and our own. We will never positively review a product that we don’t actually love. If appropriate, the company is give the option to have the product returned, provided they pay the shipping. If it is on Cosmopolitan Cornbread, it is because we honestly love it and would – or do use it ourselves.
We often receive requests to work with companies or businesses but are very particular as to who we approve. Not only do we have to like who we are working with, but it has to be a fit for our readers. We never accept outside content – if it is written on Cosmopolitan Cornbread, it was written by Constance, or an occasional special guest.
I value your feedback. If you wish to comment, please keep it clean, keep it relevant. If you have a question about a recipe – be sure to check the comments, as someone else may have already asked it :) If you didn’t like a recipe, that’s fine. I know everyone doesn’t have the same tastes and preferences. If you have constructive criticism, I welcome that. However purely negative comments are not appreciated, and I can’t account for user-error. I retain the right to delete any comments as I see fit. Thank you for your understanding.
Any opinion I give on Cosmopolitan Cornbread is my own. It is the truth, the whole truth and nothin’ but the truth.
