New Photo Assignment: STONE | #OperationShutterbug

This past week’s assignment was “morning.”

I didn’t get the chance to take very many pictures this week, as the weather was less than cooperative. But I did take a couple morning related photos to share.

However, my favorite “morning” photo to share with you today, is one submitted on the facebook page from Christina Corley, taken by her husband.

So it has been rainy and overcast every morning so I couldn’t get a morning sunlight shot so I am posting one for Burt that he took in Guatemala a couple weeks ago for this week’s theme

This coming week, the assignment is STONE.

This year my son is doing a digital photography class as one of his electives. He’ll be joining in on these assignments as well!

Every week a new theme is announced, then photographers can interpret this theme and upload their own photos in response. This project is open to everyone that loves to take photographs, no matter your skill level.

Where do you share your photos? There are a variety of options:

1. Facebook Group that I have created: “Operation Shutterbug.”

2. Blog: If you have a blog, you could share each week or do a wrap up of all the photos at the end of the month – and share your link in the comments section.

3. Instagram: Just upload your photo, play with the filters, add a caption and the hashtag #OperationShutterbug and share it. I’d love for you to tag me @TheFoodieArmyWife

4. Twitter: You can share on Twitter by uploading the photo and use the hashtag #OperationShutterbug. Feel free to tag me @FoodieArmyWife

Every Friday I will publish the week’s post, and for the next week, you can share YOUR photos! In each week’s post, I’ll share a couple of my favorites from you!
