I’m a little late getting this posted, but here is this week’s #OperationShutterbug post! This past week, our assignment was “Stone.” Here are a couple photos that I have to share.
Here are some lovely STONE photos that were shared on the group page on facebook.
From Erain Garcia
Panning for gold. One of the gifts we are given here in Alaska.
From Linda Douglass
I love the colors on these mountains heading toward Wasilla on the Glenn Highway.
From Dusti Cummins
This is down in Crater Lake, Oregon. I love that someone made the rock into art
And from Daniela Schnering
I just found this heart shaped rock two days ago after I was cleaning up around my yard. It is only about 3" by 3", but fitting for the stone theme this week!
This coming week, the assignment is HOT.
This year my son is doing a digital photography class as one of his electives. He’ll be joining in on these assignments as well!
Every week a new theme is announced, then photographers can interpret this theme and upload their own photos in response. This project is open to everyone that loves to take photographs, no matter your skill level.
Where do you share your photos? There are a variety of options:
1. Facebook Group: “Operation Shutterbug.”
2. Blog: If you have a blog, you could share each week or do a wrap up of all the photos at the end of the month – and share your link in the comments section.
3. Instagram: Just upload your photo, play with the filters, add a caption and the hashtag #OperationShutterbug and share it. I’d love for you to tag me @TheFoodieArmyWife
4. Twitter: You can share on Twitter by uploading the photo and use the hashtag #OperationShutterbug. Feel free to tag me @FoodieArmyWife
Every Thursday I will publish the week’s post, and for the next week, you can share YOUR photos! In each week’s post, I’ll share a couple of my favorites from you!
