It may be too late to start some of my root veggies, but I’m going to give it a go anyways. After the planting was done for today, I sat down in the garden to have a chat about a topic that came to mind recently…why first impressions shouldn’t be your final impression.
We finally got a good bit of rain to put a dent in the drought conditions we have still been suffering from. Unfortunately we also got a LOT of wind to go with it. How did the garden fare? Then I headed up to Monte Sano mountain in Huntsville, Alabama for a fellowship picnic.

I’m home from the conference, the weather is gorgeous and it is time to get some fall clean-up on here around the farm! We got a lot done, and even checked on something that has been waiting for us all year…
