This week something beautiful happened. For the second October in a row, there has been an autumn wedding in our family. On Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 – Joshua & Jacqueline were married.
Yes, I totally took a “selfie” with Jeff as we watched Jacqueline come down the forest path with her father. I love the look on Jeff’s face.
The wedding was held at Green Mountain in Huntsville, Alabama, which is the same location I took them for their engagement photos.
This time around, I wasn’t the primary “picture taker.” I was able to enjoy the day myself as Jenni from Jenni M Photography came to capture the occasion. She is a homeschool mom and an amazing photographer. You can see some of her photos on her website and facebook.
Of course, you know me. I can’t go an entire day without taking at least a few photos myself.
The cutting of the cake.
The eating of the cake.
The “First Fight.” Food fight that is.
First “Make Up.”
We took some time for some family photos, like this “Father & Son.”
Jeff, Mamaw & Papaw, and Joshua.
Joshua, Jacqueline, and Grandma & Grandpa (my parents.)
In military weddings, there is a tradition of the bride & groom walking out under an arch of sabers. In this nod to that tradition, Joshua & Jacqueline walked out under an arch of sparklers.
And so begins their journey together.
Because we have friends & family ll over who were not able to attend, I “voluntold” our dear friend, Wayne to man my vlogging camera.
Wayne & Stephanie. They’re “framily.”
He did a great job, and if you like, you can watch the video of Joshua & Jacqueline’s wedding ceremony below.
