Nutella-Swirl Muffins
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ c Sugar
  • 1½ c flour
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp nutmeg
  • ¼ c extra virgin olive oil (or vegetable)
  • ¾ c whole milk
  • 1 tsp Hazelnut extract
  • 1 c Nutella (approximately)
  1. To begin, line a standard muffin tin with papers, and preheat your oven to 325 degrees.
  2. In your mixing bowl, mix together eggs and sugar.
  3. To that, add the flour, salt, baking powder and nutmeg.
  4. Mix in the oil and milk, then stir in the hazelnut extract.
  5. Scoop the batter into your muffin tin.
  6. Now for the Nutella! Spoon a tablespoon or so onto the top of each muffin.
  7. Take a toothpick and stick in the middle of the Nutella and swirl it around. Repeat with all of the muffins.
  8. Bake it for 17-19 minutes, or until they test done in the center with a toothpick. Remove them to a rack and allow them to cool.
  9. Enjoy!
