Back in January, I saw an article where the “overlords” in our nation flagged people who buy bibles as potentially “dangerous.”

Well, that fired me up.

I walked straight to my computer, ordered bibles, and announced a giveaway.

I told my friend Heather about it, and she asked to sponsor a second bible, so we gave away two of them. After that, I had a few more people ask if they could also sponsor bibles, so I decided to do monthly giveaways throughout 2024.

Not long after that, I felt an urgency to get the scriptures into people’s hands. A burden for souls really came over me, and a desire to get people reading the bible. I then upped it, to weekly giveaways throughout 2024.

So all year, I have been giving away bibles. Many CJB Study bibles, as that is my favorite translation. I also gave away many The Scriptures bibles, some Tree of Life Version bibles, and several others – even a waterproof ESV bible.

Well, here we find ourselves at the end of 2024, and I have decided to end the year of giveaways with a bang. Or bangs, as next week’s will be a great one as well.

It seemed the most popular bibles were the CJB Study bible and the Scriptures bible. So for the last two giveaways, I have purchased nice versions.

This week, I am giving away to one winner:

The Scriptures Bible

Here are some of the features of The Scriptures bible from the ISR website:

The Scriptures is a literal translation of the Tanakh and the Messianic Scriptures.

The divine Name (the tetragrammaton), יהוה, appears in Hebrew characters throughout the translation in the Tanakh (Torah, Nevi’im, Kethuvim) and also in the Messianic Scriptures. The name by which the Messiah was known, Y’hoshua / Yeshua, is restored in Hebrew as well and appears in the text as such, יהושׁע.

The books in the Tanakh are arranged according to the original order of the Hebrew Scriptures, the Torah, the Prophets and the Writings.

The original Hebrew personal names of people and places are restored throughout the Scriptures, such as “Yirmeyahu” for Jeremiah, “Yeshayahu”, for Isaiah and “Mosheh” for Moses and in the Messianic Scriptures, “Mattithyahu” for Matthew etc.

The Names of all the books in the Tanakh are restored to the original Hebrew, including the books of the Torah: Bereshith (Genesis), Shemoth (Exodus), Wayiqra (Leviticus), etc, also the books of, Tehillim (Psalms), and Mishle (Proverbs) etc.

This version of The Scriptures, the Silver Anniversary edition is a large print version. The bible is 8.66 x 11 inches in size and has a Flexi Soft Cover.

It has 3 silk bookmark ribbons, silver edging and a thumb index.

The Truth, Reformation 2.0

The Truth, Reformation 2.0 by Luke Abaffy is an apologetics book that dives into many of the questions that people ask, when they are confronted with many of the questions about the bible that come up. Such as:

  • Did Jesus fulfill the law so we don’t have to?
  • Did Jesus break the Sabbath?
  • Did God’s laws change?
  • Can’t God sanctify something that used to be pagan, to bring glory to Himself?
  • Did Jesus declare all foods clean?
  • and many, many more…

Don’t Die in Your Sins

For many years, I have followed Beth Yeshua International, in Macon, Georgia. I watch the services online, and have visited in person.

Rabbi Greg Hershberg had a unbelievable medical nightmare that he experienced, right after he shared his testimony with One for Israel.

When he miraculously survived and came back, he was heavily burdened for souls, even more than before. He published this small, easy to read book about the best news known to mankind.

It is a tool to help share the gospel, the good news of salvation to all! We don’t have to die in our sins. There is hope, there is a path to redemption and freedom!

The winners will be announced and emailed by me at the addresses associated with their comment entries. Make sure you do not have any typos in the address that you enter!

Winners must claim their prize within 7 days of the winner announcement. Basically before the next giveaway takes place. If the prize is not claimed in that time, the prize will be forfeited and the bible added back into the prize pool for future giveaways.

The bible will be mailed via USPS.

This giveaway is open to any geographical location, except where prohibited by law. However, if you live overseas and do not have an APO/FPO mailing address, your country may require you to pay an import tax. That is not something I am allowed to pay. This is an issue that I have run into previously. If you are selected as the winner and your country does this, my post office can estimate what the import cost will be and I will let you know what the estimate is, so you can determine if you would still like to receive it or not.
