Beautiful and decadent little pastries filled with warm Nutella…and made in mere minutes.
To begin, preheat your oven to 400 degrees.
In a dish, whisk together an egg and a tablespoon of water, until frothy. Set it aside.
Lay a sheet of puff pastry dough on a lightly floured surface and cut it into 9 squares. A pizza cutter is handy for this.
Place a spoonful of Nutella in the middle.
Brush a little egg wash on the edges around the Nutella and fold closed. Press the edges together.
Brush the top with egg wash.
And sprinkle about a half teaspoon of demerera/raw sugar on top.
Repeat the process with all of the squares and place them on a baking sheet.
Bake 10-13 minutes, or until golden.
Enjoy!
