Peach Berry Cocktail

This time of year, I love using fresh produce from the farmer’s market or co-op, and a Peach Berry Cocktail is a fun way to put some of them to use.

To begin, place 5 or 6 fresh red raspberries in the bottom of your glass.

With a wooden spoon, mash the berries. They won’t take it personally.

In your blender, combine 1/2 cup fresh peach slices, 1/2 cup ice, 1 ounce vanilla vodka and 1 ounce peach liqueur. Blend until smooth and pour into the glass with the berries.

  1. This sounds so refreshing! I wonder if you can make your own vanilla vodka by just adding some vanilla extract to plain vodka since (homemade) extract is just vodka and vanilla beans. Hmm…and now the wheels are turning…
