Love, love, love this! I’m sure there are so many more that believe this exactly as we do. Jesus prayed that we would be one as He and the Father are One and I believe this is one example of that. Many blessings!
Amen!!! I very much appreciate your devotion “To obey or not obey”. It also brought to my mind the verse that is said to be the very center of Scripture…. Psalm 118:8 ~ It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man~ This includes man’s laws. If they don’t follow scripture, or tempt us to veer away from God’s Word, then we haven’t trusted the LORD and therefore have disobeyed Him.

We have recently found out about the holidays that we celebrate yearly and to our dismay, we are looking for a way to opt out. It’s so difficult. Family loves gatherings, so I’m thinking about family meals every few months to replace holidays. Thoughts?
I think that is a lovely idea. Having a family gathering and big meal – what could possibly be wrong with that? :)
