1
Tb
ghee or coconut oil
4
Granny Smith apples
or a mix of your favorite varieties peeled, cored and diced
1
teaspoon
fresh thyme leaves
minced
¼
teaspoon
sea salt
¼
teaspoon
freshly ground black pepper
pinch
cayenne pepper
pinch
Ceylon cinnamon

teaspoon
apple cider vinegar
I use Bragg's
Instructions
To begin, melt the ghee in a skillet over low heat.
Add in your diced apples, along with the salt, pepper, cayenne, thyme, and ceylon cinnamon.
Gently toss the apples to coat them with all of the seasonings.
Cook the apples for about 20 minutes, or until they are just soft and caramelized.
Stir in the apple cider vinegar.
Serve the apple chutney immediately or store it in the refrigerator for serving later.
Notes
If you do not have fresh thyme, you can substitute 1/2 tsp of dry thyme leaves.
