1largesweet potato(peeled and finely diced (1/4 - 1/2 inch))

1/2tspblack pepper
1/2tspchili powder
1/2tsporegano
1/2tspcinnamon
1/2tspred pepper flakes
1/2tspgarlic powder
1green apple (Granny Smith)(cored & diced (peeled or unpeeled))
1 1/2cfresh spinach leaves(or 3/4 c frozen spinach that is thawed and squeezed of excess liquid)
Instructions
In a large skillet with a lid, brown ground beef for a couple minutes, breaking apart the meat with a wooden spoon or other utensil.
Add in diced red onion, diced sweet potato, salt, black pepper, chili powder, oregano, cinnamon, red pepper flakes and garlic powder.
Stir these together, cover and cook for about 10 minutes, or until the sweet potatoes are just about tender. Stir occasionally.
Add in the spinach and a diced green apple. Cook for another minute or two or until the sweet potatoes are fully tender, and the spinach is wilted & apple bits are heated through.
