crackerstortilla chips or pieces of bread for serving
Instructions
To begin, preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the beef bacon into 1/2 inch pieces. Cook these in a skillet until golden brown and crispy. Scoop to a plate lined with paper towels and set aside for now.
In the same skillet, cook the beef, onion, and garlic.
When it is fully cooked, spoon all of the skillet contents into a sieve to drain out the drippings.
In a mixing bowl, combine the remaining ingredients and stir to combine. Add in the ground beef mixture and most of the bacon and stir to combine.
Spread the mixture into a 9×9 square (or similar) baking dish. Top with the remaining pieces of bacon.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the mixture us bubbly and slightly golden on top. Allow it to sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve the dip with crackers, tortilla chips, or pieces of bread.
