Ingredients

all-purpose flour

baking soda

rolled oats

butter
unsalted, room temperature

granulated sugar

brown sugar

c
creamy peanut butter

egg

teaspoon
vanilla

chocolate chips
For the Glaze (Optional)

powdered sugar

peanut butter

Instructions
To begin, preheat your oven to 350°(F).
In a bowl, stir together the flour, baking soda, salt, and rolled oats, set this aside for now.
In your mixing bowl, beat the egg, sugars, butters and vanilla extract together until nice and fluffy.
Mix in your dry ingredients.
Stir in the chocolate chips.
Press the dough into the bottom of a greased 9x13 baking dish.
Bake for 20-25 minutes or until it is lightly golden and tests done with a wooden pick.
Cool for about 10 minutes.
Meanwhile, whisk together the powdered sugar and peanut butter in a small bowl along with just enough milk to make the glaze smooth.
Drizzle it over the top of the cookie bars. Cool completely.
Cut into bars and enjoy!
