Homemade Cajun Seasoning is a simple blend of some basic ingredients you already have on hand.
Here’s the great thing about making your own spice blends: If you are on a sodium restricted diet, you can simply omit the salt in this blend.
That gives you more control over the salt that goes into your foods. You could make this without the salt and simply add any salt as needed to whatever recipe you are making.
To make Homemade Cajun Seasoning you will need:
- salt
- paprika
- cayenne pepper
- black pepper
- oregano
- jar with lid
