This is the beginning of a beautiful friendship…. Take your breakfast oatmeal to a new level with pecans and Nutella!

DSC_0032_edited-1

Start with 1 cup of whole milk in a small saucepan.

2

Add in 1/2 cup old-fashioned Rolled Oats.

3

And you will add a couple tablespoons of finely chopped pecans. You can add these at the end if you like. I happen to have a sensitivity to raw nuts, so I add them now.

4

You can also add in a pinch of salt if you like.

Over medium heat, you are going to continually stir this while it comes to a very gentle boil.

5

Continue cooking it until it comes to the consistency you like. (About 10 minutes.)

6

Remove it from the heat and stir in 1 teaspoon Brown Sugar

7

And 1 Tablespoon Nutella.

8

Stir until happy.

9

Top with dried cranberries, raisins, sliced strawberries, or whatever you choose.

Enjoy!
