We drove through beautiful tree nut groves and farms and the headed up in elevation into some big mountains – this was passing through the infamous Donner’s Pass.

We stayed the night just barely in Nevada, at an RV park next to a casino. It was really quiet, and actually a pretty mice place to stay! My youngest loved the view of the bright night sky and asked me to take a picture of it.

We spent the night in Utah, just south of Salt Lake City at a lovely park in Provo. Jennifer enjoyed the sunshine and so did the pups.

Once we passed from the Salt Lake City area, the terrain became absolutely rugged and beautiful!
