Tonight we went on a little outing for our last trip to the World Ice Art Championship.
First we saw the single block sculptures. These sculptures were each carved and pieced together from a single 5 by 8 foot block of ice. A block weighing 7,800 lbs!!
After the single block sculptures, we went on to see the multi block competition. These sculptures were created from 10 blocks. Can you imagine?!
Tons of ice, defying gravity.
This giant pirate stood about 20 feet tall!
We will miss this!!
