Yesterday, my daughter and I headed to downtown Fairbanks to enjoy the event.
Did I mention that it was also St. Patty’s day?
The spectators were lined up on both sides of the street the cheer on the racers.
The racers were literally bouncing up and down with excitement…howling and complaining about having to wait.
And off they go!!!
These dogs are so anxious to run, look at how many people it takes to HOLD the team, when they are ready to go!

As well as the race, there was a fur auction going across the street.
I really, really wanted that blue wolf fur!
Oh, and there was also a “heavy weight” contest going on.
