On Monday, I shared with you how my husband had gone down to Valdez for a Military Appreciation fishing trip out on the waters off the coast of Alaska.
When he arrived home, I got the photos off of the camera that he took with him….the few that he took. Apparently I didn’t train him well enough. He talked all about the sea otters swimming in the water, and the porpoises that chased their lines….and are there any pictures of those?! Sigh. But here are some of the pictures he did take.
This guy, he said, was very entertaining. He would fall asleep on one leg, and his head leaning to the side. As he fell asleep, he would start falling over, and catch himself – then stare at the ground with one eye, as though the ground was the one moving, and he was trying to catch it in the act.
These were beautiful pictures. Next month, we are planning to take a family trip down that way. I am looking forward to it!
