To begin, start a pot of salted water to cook your pasta in.

While the bacon is cooking, mince 3 cloves of garlic.

When the water comes to a boil, pour in 1/2 lb of your favorite pasta.” I’m using mini farfalle (bowties) but you can use penne, rigatoni, or any similar pasta.

At the same time, add in a cup of frozen peas. Let those cook until the pasta is done, according to the instructions on your package.

When the bacon is done, remove it to a plate lined with paper towels. Set it aside for now.

Toss the minced garlic into the skillet with the bacon drippings and cook over low heat until tender and just beginning to turn golden. This will only take a few moments.

Pour in 1 cup half & half along with 1/2 teaspoon each of salt & pepper. Bring this to a gentle boil over medium heat, stirring often. Once it begins to boil, add in 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan cheese. Stir until it is melted in and remove the pan from the heat.

Chop the bacon into 1/2 inch pieces.

When the pasta & peas are done cooking, drain them with a colander.

Add the pasta, peas, and bacon to the sauce and stir to combine.
