Allow the syrup to cool to room temperature and use as you like. I store mine in some simple glass bottles to make pouring easy.

  1. I tried this. Live the simplicity of it however the orange flavor isn’t as strong as I’d like. I will increase the amount of oranges next time. Also, we don’t eat sugar so I used maple syrup instead and it worked out perfect. Thank you for sharing this recipe.

  2. I added the zest of 1.5 oranges and the juice of 3 oranges. Enhanced the orange flavour for what will be it’s intended use. I also added 1 cinneman stick. Didn’t overpower it, just gived it a little twist.

  3. Has anyone ever tried this one with a reduced amount of sugar? Curious if it would still work with, say, half the added sugar
