These easy nachos are actually the very first recipe I ever “made up” as a newlywed and new cook. It was a hit back then, and to this day it is a favorite recipe.
To Make This Recipe You Will Need:
- ground beef
- onion powder
- taco seasoning (see my recipe for homemade here.)
- salsa
- refried beans
- shredded cheese
- nacho chips
- guacamole
- sour cream
- shredded lettuce
- oven safe skillet (mine is a 10 inch cast iron)
- wooden spoon or other utensil

I have made these nachos with a variety of different ground meat: beef, turkey, bison, and even ground moose meat. Most often though, we have it with classic ground beef.

Excellent Recipe, will definitely make again! Thanks Constance.
I really enjoyed this but prefer it with one 16 oz. can of refried beans. Easy, filling and delicious!
